LOADING SRI RAM TRANSPORT
Est. 1998 — Sri Ram Transport
One of Odisha's top five transportation & logistics companies during the mining boom — specialising in transporting and trading iron ore for some of India's largest exporters and manufacturers.
Overview
Founded in 1998 during Odisha's mining boom, Sri Ram Transport rapidly grew into one of the state's top five transportation and logistics companies. What began as a handful of trucks moving ore out of a single mine head has, over more than two decades, become a disciplined, safety-first fleet operation trusted by some of India's largest iron ore exporters and steel manufacturers.
Core business includes transportation of iron ore from the major mining belts of Odisha — including Tensa, Koira, Barbil, Joda and Keonjhar — moved via a mixed fleet of heavy trucks, a multi-axle fleet and railway rakes, chosen to match each route's terrain and volume. Every load is tracked, every route is compliance-checked, and every delivery window is treated as a non-negotiable commitment. That discipline is the same standard that now underpins every business in the Sri Ram Group.
Sri Ram Transport has developed excellent long-term relationships with mining companies, iron ore producers, export houses and steel manufacturers — a network that enables smooth, efficient movement of materials at every stage of the supply chain, from mine head to export port.
Beyond haulage, Sri Ram Transport also trades iron ore directly, leveraging two decades of relationships with mine owners to source consistent grades and volumes for our manufacturing and export partners.
